Upgrading an Existing Installation

Upgrading is almost identical to a fresh install. Run the installer as normal, then log in to Open-AudIT. You'll be directed to a database schema upgrade screen — just run the upgrade and you're done.

Check the release notes before upgrading to see what's changed.

Virtual Appliance

If you'd rather skip the manual install, FirstWave also offers a pre-built virtual appliance (OVA) that has everything configured and ready to run. This is the fastest way to get Open-AudIT up and running. Download it from firstwave.com.
