Reporting

Once Open-AudIT has discovered devices, you get the data back out using Queries, Summaries, and Reports. All three live under the Report menu.

In This Section

The short version

  • Queries → "Show me each device's manufacturer, model, and serial number"
  • Summaries → "Show me all installed software grouped by name and version, with a count"
  • Reports → "Show me all new devices discovered in the last 30 days" (usually date-range based; Professional and Enterprise)

All three can be filtered by attributes and have a row limit applied. All three are displayed in the same Report menu and can be executed from there.

Open-AudIT ships with over 50 built-in reports. You can also create your own.
