In this walkthrough, Simon covers the three main deployment scenarios for Open-AudIT and helps you decide which is right for your environment.

Standalone configurations are ideal for small to medium networks — a single server handles all discovery and reporting with no additional infrastructure.

Multiple Standalone Servers gives you horizontal scalability. Each server operates independently, which works well when you have geographically distributed networks or want fault isolation between sites.

Collector Server Configuration provides a centralized management model. Remote collectors gather data from distributed network segments and report back to a central server — ideal for large enterprise environments. Note that the collector feature requires an enterprise license.

Review your current network size, structure, and licensing requirements to choose the deployment scenario that best fits your needs.
